Before becoming a breakout star in the Korean drama, Squid Game, HoYeon Jung already had plenty of skin in the fashion industry. Working as a model for over a decade before being cast as the character of Kang in the show, she had been placed front and center on the runways of Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and many more. As one of Karl Lagerfeld’s favorite muses, one must wonder what her je ne sais quoi is. Her style is enigmatic and chic. Exciting and yet classic. And thankfully, the inner stylist in me is ready to break down all of what appear to be her key rules.

The first basic that we see Hung fall for over and over again is that of the boxy denim jacket. Proclaimed by Vogue in 2015 that her signature is both denim and “wide and long pieces” this makes perfect sense.
