Eden Bodyworks
Trying to find a good natural hair brand? Look no further!
EDEN BodyWorks is a natural hair care brand that was founded by Jasmine Lawrence in 2004 at the tender age of 13. Like many, the decision to go natural was made after experiencing hair damage from relaxers. When she could not find any products that would nurture her hair back to life, Jasmine decided to create her own, thus blessing the natural hair community with EDEN BodyWorks.
The brand was made to provide customers with clean ingredients, be hair type inclusive, and help keep the skin healthy. EDEN naturally (no pun intended), derives from nature, “offer[ing] products that treat and maintain the hair and body’s original design.” In EDEN’s products, you will not find harsh sulfates, parabens, silicones, mineral oils, or dyes. They pride themselves on being cruelty-free.
As a naturalista who cares about the health of my hair and the products I’m putting in it, EDEN quickly became one of my favorite brands. I first tried their coconut shea line, using the curl-defining creme. I loved the thick and creamy consistency. With my type 4 hair, I love thick products because I feel that they give my strands the necessary hydration. The coconut shea line also has a body collection which includes a body lotion, body wash, and hand cream.
Before trying a product–or anything for that matter–I go to Youtube for product reviews. I do this to make an informed purchase. Product reviews are extremely helpful, and I recommend that you watch some yourself when considering buying a new product. you can find a ton on almost any brand you have in mind. With that said, here are reviews for all of EDEN’s hair Collections.
